From July 2025, Global Safety Innovation (GSI) will relaunch with a renewed commitment to advancing operational learning and applying evidence-based safety science across high-risk industries.

Building on the success of the 2024 Safety Innovation Summit in Wollongong Australia, GSI will introduce a series of new initiatives, including an industry-led PhD research program, quarterly Think Tanks and events, and the return of the Global Safety Innovation Summit in 2026.

These initiatives will engage not only safety professionals, but also frontline personnel and leaders in Operations, as well as those in HR, legal, and executive roles—ensuring a collaborative, cross-functional approach to improving organisational safety outcomes.
